The CMagTRes group was established three years ago by Dr Arne Døssing Andreasen with the purpose of developing, testing and applying new technologies for novel dronebased magnetic mapping of the Earth's crust, archaeology, subsurface ferrous pollution and minerals. Since 2016, the CMagTRes group has received several grants and has advanced from early prototype systems to fully functional drone-based systems in 2019. We have recently successfully completed our first mapping campaigns in DK, northern Sweden and Iceland and have upcoming campaigns in France (Oct 2019) and northern Greenland (TBD). The aim is to become the leading group in Europe within UAVbased geophysics, combining novel technology development, data acquisition and advanced data processing and interpretation methods.
